How it works
Reports in PulsePlant cover every operational domain out of the box: work order completion, equipment downtime, inventory turnover, PM compliance, maintenance cost, equipment reliability, equipment utilization, labor hours, parts usage, and vendor performance. Each report includes summary KPIs, trend charts, categorical breakdowns, and detail tables — with relevance-ranked content specific to the report type.
Custom report templates let users save a configuration — filters, columns, charts, grouping, sorting — and re-run it on demand or on a schedule. Templates can be private or public. Scheduled reports generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly and deliver via email to users, roles, or external addresses in PDF, Excel, or CSV.
Interactive chart types include line, bar, pie, area, scatter, and composed — all built on Recharts with tooltips, legends, and responsive sizing. All reports support filtering by date range, equipment, location, status, priority, and type with date ranges either fixed or relative so scheduled reports always cover the most recent period.
Execution history tracks every generated report with timing, status, file size, and distribution results. Failed deliveries can be retried. Batch export packages multiple reports for bulk download. Analytics on the reporting engine itself show usage patterns, popular reports, and execution success rates.
