Inventory Integrity Monitor

Auto-corrects drift before it compounds

An hourly background audit that reconciles inventory, reservations, work order parts, requisitions, and receipts. Catches drift automatically so bad data never cascades into wrong costs or failed jobs.

How it works

Real inventory systems drift. Reservations get orphaned, work order parts show statuses that don't match the transaction log, auto-requisitions duplicate for the same item, PO receipts fall out of sync with line totals. The PulsePlant Integrity Monitor runs nine checks every hour and fixes the issues automatically.

You can run a Dry Run any time to preview what would be corrected. Run Now applies the fixes immediately. Every correction writes to a log with a clear description of what was wrong and what got fixed. A 7-day history shows every run, every correction, and every check that erred.

The 9 checks catch reserved-qty drift, committed-qty drift, uncovered negative stock, orphaned reservations, work order part status mismatches, duplicate auto-reqs, stale issued parts with no transaction, requisition status drift, and PO receipt qty drift. Idempotent — running twice against clean data produces no corrections.

What you get

Nine automatic checks

Reservation drift, negative stock, orphaned refs, status mismatches — all reconciled hourly.

Dry run preview

See exactly what would be corrected before anything runs. Safe to preview any time.

On-demand execution

Run Now triggers a full audit and correction cycle right now instead of waiting for the hourly job.

Per-correction audit log

Every fix recorded with what was wrong, what was corrected, the item affected, and the time.

Idempotent by design

Clean data produces zero corrections. No risk of over-correcting or creating loops.

Trend visibility

See which check types are producing the most corrections — a signal something upstream is off.

Common ways it's used

Catching reservation drift before a technician shows up to a job with no parts
Eliminating duplicate auto-requisitions for the same item
Keeping work order parts in sync with real inventory transactions
Spotting upstream process issues by watching the correction pattern
