Events & Audit Log

Every action, timestamped, attributed

An immutable audit trail for every meaningful action across the system. Timeline and list views, 11 event categories, field-level diffs on every change, and a search that spans years of history.

How it works

Every user login, record change, approval, status transition, configuration change, and system event writes an immutable event. Events can't be edited or deleted by anyone — including admins — so the audit trail is unbreakable. Attribution captures the acting user, the timestamp, the affected entity, and the full metadata of what changed.

The Events page offers two complementary views. Timeline groups events by relative time and event category for quick scanning — "what happened in the last hour". List gives a traditional paginated table with sort and filter. Both share the same event detail dialog, which shows the full metadata and a field-level diff of before/after values for any change.

Statistics cards summarize the current period — total events, critical events, by category — and search spans the whole history. For compliance, troubleshooting, and security investigations, the Events page is where the answers live.
